Introduced for the first time by Michael Jordan during the season. 1987-1988 NBA The Air Jordan 3 is the first basketball figure ever to feature Air technology in a visible way, inherited from the Air Max 1 .

The Air Jordan 3 Varsity Royal features a royal blue leather base with the iconic elephant print in the forefoot and heel area. Faithful to the design of the original model, this new variation is devoid of side Swoosh. Black elements placed on the sole and back of the shoe contrast with the majority of the visible blue. A perforated grey leather insert near the eyelets, black laces and the Jumpman branding elements complete the look.
